Kevin Marr

Senior Pastor

Pastor Kevin, Faith’s fourth senior pastor, is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. With over twenty-five years of experience in north and central Mississippi, he graduated from Crichton College and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree as Valedictorian.

Married for thirty-two years to Jill, Kevin and their children, Kati and Connor, collaborate to maximize their ministry potential. Kati, pursuing an online master’s degree in video management and production, works in Admissions at Patrick Henry College. Connor, a second-degree Black Belt and AAU National Championship sparring winner, attends Patrick Henry College, majoring in Strategic Intelligence.

Pastor Kevin’s life verse, 2 Timothy 2:15, inspires him to study the Scriptures, preach directly from the text, and foster discipleship. He works with individuals and couples at Faith to grow their faith and strengthen their marriages.

Magdalena (Maggie) Cruz

Ministry Facilitator

Magdalena (Maggie) Cruz was born in Freeport, New York, and raised by parents of Puerto Rican descent. She has been married to Pablo Cruz Jr. for nearly twelve years. Maggie has a son, Steven Delgado, who is married to Victoria R. Lewellyn who are the proud parents of two wonderful sons, Tyler(9), and Levi (2).
 
Maggie has over twelve years of experience in Church Administration and feels profoundly privileged to be entrusted with such a significant role in the church's ministry.  She enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking, and snow tubing. Additionally, she highly values spending quality time with her family and friends over dinners and watching movies on the weekends.
 
For the past year, Maggie has served as the Ministry Facilitator at FBC and finds great joy in her role serving the individuals within this church community. She also has the privilege to use her skill as an interpreter to help serve the Hispanic community within the outreach programs of FBC.

Kayla Hawkins

Preschool Director

Kayla Hawkins serves as the Preschool Director at Faith Baptist Church, where she is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for young children and their families. She has a heart for helping children experience the love of Jesus through meaningful relationships, object learning, and joyful Sunday experiences. Kayla also enjoys equipping and encouraging volunteers as they serve and grow together in ministry and feels grateful for God’s calling in this season to serve the families of Faith Baptist Church.

Kayla and her husband, Justin, have been blessed with two children, Harlow and Henry, who keep life full of adventure, laughter, and learning. As a homeschooling family, they value a focus on Biblical-worldview education, family, and creating intentional moments together both at church and at home. Outside of ministry, Kayla loves gardening, crafting, and anything involving animals—especially caring for their family flock of chickens and two ducks.

Andy Gosnell

Facilities Manager

Born in Frederick and raised in Walkersville, Andy Gosnell has deep roots in the local community. He is married to Allison and is the proud father of four children: Phil (46), Tony (40), Nick (36), and Dillon (27). With a passion for design, Andy pursued a College Education in Architectural Drafting, sparking a lifelong interest in building and carpentry. Outside of work, Andy enjoys hands-on projects, often bringing creativity and craftsmanship into his hobbies. For the past 14 years, Andy has been a dedicated member of Faith, where he finds fulfillment in serving others, using the talents God has gifted him. This sense of purpose and community has made his journey incredibly meaningful.

Amelia White

Ministry Assistant - Media

Amelia White was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and has called Jefferson home since the age of two. She is the daughter of Jeffrey (Elder) and Pamela White and is a proud triplet, with siblings Leah Teague, Alex White, and Gabriella White.

She has been serving in the audio/video ministry at Faith Baptist Church for over a decade. Her journey began at 16, when she joined the drama department at Brunswick High School. She continued to grow in media under the guidance of Debbie McClain, Jon McCord, and Jamie Daily, eventually stepping into her current role. Amelia thrives in behind-the-scenes work and uses her technical skills to serve the church.

With an associate’s degree in graphic design and eight years of customer service experience, including two years in management, Amelia has also used her artistic gifts in creative ways, such as painting murals and designing promotional materials. She recognized the growing need for churches to establish a stronger online presence and has been an advocate for using technology and social media to expand the gospel reach. Amelia believes that technology is a powerful tool to fulfill the mission of spreading the message of Jesus to the broader community. Outside of ministry, Amelia enjoys drawing, painting, playing video games, and watching movies. Her creativity, servant’s heart, and technical skills make her a valuable part of the Faith Baptist Church family.

Connor Marr

Ministry Assistant - Worship & Next Gen

Connor has been involved in church ministry through youth group, missions, and praise team ministry. He has been classically trained in piano for 13 years and has a deep appreciation for worship and the role music plays in the discipline of worship. His desire is to faithfully serve wherever needed and to help strengthen the church through service, discipleship, and worship.

Connor currently serves as the youth and worship leader. With a strong background in project management and team leadership, he seeks to establish strong service, missions, and leadership opportunities for the next generation. His goal is to build a youth ministry that is rooted in strong biblical discipleship and spiritual growth. His approach is a multi-generational framework where older believers actively invest in the next generation through mentorship, service, and faithful Christian living. His goal is to help create a ministry culture where students are grounded in Scripture, involved in the life of the church, and equipped to serve Christ well.
